The Senior Center has several activities and events for senior citizens in the White Lake area. - White Lake United Methodist Church, 8555 Cook St, Montague, (231) 894-5789
This church offers free meals to locals on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. A free store is also open on Thursdays, 5 p.m.- 8 p.m., and Saturdays, 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. - Lebanon Lutheran Church, 1101 S Mears Ave, Whitehall (231) 893-5745
Be sure to get in the drive-thru line on Wednesdays from 9:30 am – 10:30 am for the food pantry - White Lake Congregational UCC, 1809 S Mears Ave, (231) 893-3265
Occasionally, food trucks are hosted here; registration begins at 8:30 am, with distribution starting at 10 am. Check with the office for up-and-coming dates.
In Muskegon County, there is a Senior Millage that funds services for seniors aged 60+.
