Whitehall Township is a civil township of Muskegon County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,648 at the 2000 census. The city of Whitehall is located at the southwest corner of the township, but is administratively autonomous.

For those of you wanting to play disc golf you only need to travel east a few miles to the beautifully wooded course on Lorensen Road.
Whitehall has access to bike trails. Visit www.visitmuskegon.org/biking-and-hiking to see how interconnected the area is with smooth, scenic bike paths. You will encounter many artistic sculptures along the path and could end up at the ice cream shop.
In 2014 the Lakeshore Museum Center opened the Michigan’s Heritage Park on 8637 North Durham Road to the public. It explores 10,000 years of Michigan History in a natural woodland setting.
