APRIL 15TH, 2026 – See dates & times as listed in “Site Use Rules“. Please do not drop off any yard waste prior to our opening date, or times when we are closed.

This site is staffed and operated for the exclusive use of Whitehall Township Residents. Pictured ID’s will be verified at entrance. No double axel trailers, dump trailers or dump trucks allowed. For standard yard waste such as grass, leaves, and small brush. No stumps. Brush and branches must be smaller than 2″ diameter in thickness.

Township Sewer Bills – 1st Quarter 2026

April 1st, 2026 – Sewer Bills will be sent out at the end of 2025. All bills can be paid via mail, or by visiting our Township Hall at 7644 Durham Road, Whitehall, MI. 49461.

Please note that a new delinquent rate of 3% will be applied to all sewer billings in excess of 30 days, compounded monthly. Please see General Ordinance, Article 5.

Township Parks

April 15th, 2026 – The Whitehall Township Parks opened for the 2026 season.

Pickleball – This year we are asking all players and fans to please use the back parking lot, Monday through Thursday, 9:00am – 4:00pm. We need to keep the front lot open for our office business, playground and picnic area guest. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

Winter Property Tax Statements

December 1st, 2025 – Tax bills will be sent out on December 1, 2025, and are to be paid by February 17, 2026. Taxes may be paid by check or cash at the Township building front desk Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or by placing them in our 24-hour drop box, near the front door.
If you need further assistance with your tax bill, or haven’t received one by January 18th, please see the Treasurer, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., or by appointment.
